Meet Our People

We are a friendly group. Our humble leaders have been volunteering in their communities for many years, and they bring with them the ability to lead, to inspire and to care for the community.

Rev Rob Salloum,

Priest & Rector

Bio: The Rev. Rob Salloum was appointed associate priest on Jan. 1, 2010, sharing in liturgical leadership and pastoral care in the parishes of Victoria and Carleton – alongside then Rector Cannon Howard Anningson.  Upon Cannon Howards retirement in June of 2012, Rev. Rob was appointed Rector of both the parishes of Carleton and Victoria, until they amalgamated in October 2012.  Now the churches otherwise known as St. George's and St. Jude's on the West Side of Saint John worship together in one building as the new Parish of West Saint John.  Rev. Rob is passionate about Jesus, small group ministry, program ministry, and congregational development. He is married to a wonderful wife Jennifer and has a son Stephen. Rob’s interests include hockey, model trains, travelling and canoe trips.

Our Community

Saint John West is a priority neighboorhood.  With our eyes towards Jesus, WAM tries to be an outreach based group.  We want to offer a safe place for our community to reach out to us for all their needs.  Each Sunday at 4:30  we put on a wonderful  community meal called our George's café.  We also endevour to maintain adaquate supplies for our EMERGENCY food program, which we have named "Howards Pantry". Check out all the latest news and events from our community.

We welcome everyone to our worship service in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

All are welcome to Holy Communion. We extend a special welcome to visitors and those new to our parish.

You are all invited to participate in the Holy Eucharist.

Traditional Sunday Said Service of Holy Eucharist will be held Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. at the Carleton-Kirk United Church.

Contemporary Worship Service of Holy Eucharist will be held Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the Seafarers Mission 92 Tilley Ln, Saint John.
