Hope, Faith, Community.
Hope, Faith, Community.

The Foundation of Westside Anglican Mission:

Westside Anglican Mission is derived from the coming together of two parishes; St. George's and St. Jude's, Anglican Churches in West Saint John.  They were founded in the belief that communities must learn to help themselves.

Our work is founded on the following five pillars of faith:

  • To spread and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • A duty to reach out to the less fortunate
  • An obligation to lead by example
  • Acceptance of the fact that we, too, may someday require assistance in our time of need
  • The path to salvation can only be acheived through Christ

Our Community

Saint John West is a priority neighboorhood.  With our eyes towards Jesus, WAM tries to be an outreach based group.  We want to offer a safe place for our community to reach out to us for all their needs.  Each Sunday at 4:30  we put on a wonderful  community meal called our George's café.  We also endevour to maintain adaquate supplies for our EMERGENCY food program, which we have named "Howards Pantry". Check out all the latest news and events from our community.

We welcome everyone to our worship service in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

All are welcome to Holy Communion. We extend a special welcome to visitors and those new to our parish.

You are all invited to participate in the Holy Eucharist.

Services:

Traditional Sunday Said Service of Holy Eucharist will be held Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. at the Carleton-Kirk United Church.

Contemporary Worship Service of Holy Eucharist will be held Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the Seafarers Mission 92 Tilley Ln, Saint John.
